Smile =)

I've been sick the past two days. Coughing and sniffing,
praying that it's not the swine flu. And I also have been
absent from school starting thursday until today. Life
in the house without any school task feels so light.
But I had to also help out my mom with chores that includes
laundry and me plucking out her white hair -.- HAHA
Anyways, after all was done w/ chores, I have found a
new JAPANESE DRAMA to watch :] It's with Jun Matsumoto and
Aragaki Yui, the drama I've been waiting to watch has
finally aired and have been subbed! :] Thank you!
It's called "Smile", and here's a sypnosis about the drama,

Hayakawa Bito has a Filipino father and a Japanese mother, but he was born and raised in Japan and has never visited the Philippines. The ever-smiling Bito works at Machimura Foods during the day, and at night, he works a part-time job trying to make his dreams come true. One day during an incident at a bookstore, he meets a girl named Mishima Hana, who lost her ability to speak due to an accident. But even though she can't speak, Bito is drawn to her beautiful smile. However, Bito becomes wrongly suspected by the police for a crime, and after meeting the lawyer Kazuma, the issue begins to grow... Together, Bito, Hana, and Kazuma will go through challenging times and have to overcome many obstacles.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and it already has
brought a smile on my face :] It's a very interesting
because it contains issues and experiences that some
of us in the world may be facing. But yeah! Aragaki Yui
was so heroic and brave in Ep 2! Can't wait for the rest
of the drama! YAY!

Also, Hawthorne continues to have a pitiful tone towards Hester. He mentions that Hester’s elegant character has been wiped away by the Scarlet letter. By doing so, he creates a tone of sympathy for her faded beauty. Hawthorne also contained a doubtful tone to whether Hester will be able to change back to her original self. Words such as “if” and “might” prove his unstable position about her. All of these focus on his tone with some negativity that emphasizes on Hester’s transformation during her time in crisis.

Rough Draft for Essay

Hawthorne uses descriptive diction to describe and highlight Hester’s appearance. The “gloss” on her hair brings out the image of a young woman. Words such as richness and impressiveness build her complex features like her brows and deep black eyes. This gives her a more alive and active look in her character. Yet, she also earned herself a “halo of misfortune and ignominy”, which is a result of a sin she has committed. Embroidered and illuminated was the Scarlet Letter she has received on her bosom, as a mark to remind her of her mistake. Hawthorne includes all of these descriptive words to portray and illustrate the transition from a young innocent beauty to a troubled one.

Weird Cold Tuesday,,

YES! It was a weird weather, very gloomy when I came outside
the building. And and and it looked like it was gonna rain, but it
didn't, Thank God! Strong winds gave me chills, and line 3 took
long to pick me up haha. I wish I can drive already! But anyways!
Got together w/ wsg gals and hung out and talked about how
we can improve our dancing w/ nobody and gee. It was real good,
hope all of us were there to practice though. But yeah, we ate some
mochi that was made by someone that no need to be mentioned. HAHA
it was pretty tasty. Coco, Nancy, Ana, and I stopped by Mitsuwa,
prices went up and it ain't cool man. We got some real nice
girl talk. Hehehehe, especially Coco and I talkin about our "FUTURE
PLANS" after high school! Goin to the Philippines y'know! I think it'd
be a fun !vacation! HAHAHA Nancy will be the only viet flipino.
ITS GEEEUT! haha. i'm home and tired and sleepy.
BUT NO! I have to do homework, its a daily thing but
procrastination kicks in sometimes. :[ so badd!!!
But i wish WSG will be able to perform tomorrow <3
please please please!
hehehe, the day after tomorrow I have a field trip!
WOOOOHOOOO! This week doesn't seem so bad at all :]

i HATE schoool -.-

Seriously! It sucks even more when you come from spring
break! I didn't even touch any of my work, and now I'm
finishing them up for late work haha. Still it's something
right? Well, I'm also hopin' that WSG will be able to
perform this wednesday, it's so disappointing to hear
the news about our condition of our performance.
Pleasee godd i wish we'll get our spot, and show what
hard work and practice we've done! please please please.

I ain't scared.

I'm not scared of scary movies much. Unless it's like the super
scariest, but I usually just ehhh the movie. Bwahaha!
But I love watching scary movies w/ wsg, they the homies.
Lol, anyways, its so entertaining watchin it with them.
I'd just laugh at them, because of how scared they get.
Aww, I sound so evil right now. But I do get scared also.
I get scared of many things. But I don't want to elaborate on that,
it's all of my secrets! BWAHAHA :]

MAN, so I'm watching the korean version of Hana Yori Dango, which is the title there on top. AND I'm so tuned to it, I wanna keep watching, but I have to wait cuz it's pretty new and oh gosh.
I'm so hooked to it, this is going on my list to buy hahaha :D Anyways, the story is so good,
and lotsa good stuff already in the first 2 episodes!
